On the one hand, the security of your transport goods includes. On the other hand, we ensure the safety of the drivers. In most European countries, the basic equipment for traveling safely includes carrying a high-visibility vest according to the DIN standard. Since July 1, 2014, at least one high-visibility vest in accordance with DIN EN 471:2003 + A1:2007 or EN ISO 20471:2013 has been mandatory in every motorized vehicle - except for motorcycles. Not wearing a high-visibility vest or one that does not comply with the DIN standard can cost you a hefty fine during an inspection. The DIN standard regulates the function and appearance of a high-visibility vest, so that, for example, no one comes up with the idea of having high-visibility vests printed on T-shirts and using them as “high-visibility vests”.
If there are regularly more than 2 vehicle occupants, e.g. in taxis or buses, more high-visibility vests should be carried in the vehicle. Whether these are then worn is another matter; Wearing a high-visibility vest is not mandatory - but it is definitely recommended in the event of a breakdown or a traffic accident, especially in the dark season! People wearing dark clothing can be seen very late - even with eagle eyes - and by then it is usually no longer possible to brake in time.
