The ice-cold passion of OCS Spedition works for the Black Tigers

Ice hockey is very exciting. Each team must score as many goals as possible within three 20-minute periods. Fast moves and impressive man-to-man duels dominate the highly emotional games. This team sport leaves no spectator in the hall or on the screen untouched. You would like to actively intervene in the action and use body checks to push the opponent sideways or out of the way in order to win the puck.

Our employees Bernhard Braun and Wladimir Kuhlmann are not only specialists in heavy transport as well as imports and exports to Eastern Europe and Central Asia, but also real ice hockey professionals. Her passion lies with the “Black Tigers” gaming community (www.black-tigers-bremen.de) from Bremen. Every Wednesday evening, both of them can hardly be kept in the office. At around 7 p.m. the smartphone is exchanged for the game equipment and ice skates. Together with their teammates, they let the puck fly across the playing field in the “Paradice” ice rink and prepare for the next friendly game. They have good positional play and risk a lot during the three phases of the game, repeatedly surprising the opponents. They hardly miss a chance to score.

In addition to the trained moves, a lot of skill and stamina are the be-all and end-all for the quick punches and tough man-to-man fights. During a game, only five field players and one goalkeeper per team are on the ice. Player changes take place not only during breaks in the game, but also during the ongoing game. Before you know it, a player is back on the ice grabbing the puck.

Ice hockey is a real challenge

A team has to quickly adapt to its opponent and, if necessary, adapt its game tactics in order to stay ahead. The sport has many parallels with the trucking business. We also continually adapt to the current needs and wishes of our customers and optimize our workflow. Efficiency and speed are important characteristics of our actions. That's why not only Bernhard Braun and Wladimir Kuhlmann play for the “Black Tigers”, but we also support the syndicate financially as a sponsor.

If you are interested in ice hockey and would like to take part in a training session, please feel free to contact Bernahrd Braun at any time. He manages the team and looks forward to new teammates.
