At the turn of the year we said goodbye to Roland Lazzarini as he entered a new phase of his life

On New Year's Eve we not only celebrated the turn of the year, but also said goodbye to our long-time employee Roland Lazzarini when he retired. Hardly anyone else knows the freight forwarding business as well as he does. As a trained freight forwarder, he earned his first spurs at Paneuropa, Südkraft and Kühne & Nagel, among others, before moving to OCS Spedition GmbH and particularly expanding the Eastern European business. “Closer to markets and customers” was his philosophy. He took the necessary time to listen to the customers' personal requirements and objectives in order to develop innovative logistics solutions that created added value. Reliability and mindfulness characterized his actions. We will miss Roland Lazzarini's management skills very much.

Gradual transition into retirement

So that the transition to well -deserved retirement is not so difficult for him, it will be Dennis Braun And Thomas Nawrocki are at the side of the care of his regular customers with advice and action. In the past few weeks, the range of services for Chinese im- and exports has been expanded by the economically attractive “Chinzag” as well as the logistics service from and to Great Britain, Ireland and also Estonia. A team of experts under the direction of Ralf Poppe for IM and Exports to Scandinavia was also founded.
