It will hopefully be a long time before the dispatcher in logistics can be replaced by robots. In addition to the excellent service that our employees provide, many of our satisfied customers also value the personal contact - not least thanks to our charming employees. But according to an exclusive DVZ market survey, not even a fifth of dispatchers in German companies are female - so in this article we will show you why women are so important in this supposedly male domain.

Of course, all logisticians promise to always be on time. But the reality is sometimes different, because traffic gridlock is sometimes unavoidable. Early warning is an important decision criterion for good customer satisfaction. And if there's a delay, it's a bit of a downer when you're informed about it by a friendly lady's voice.

The driver – stress, driving times and then that annoying customer

Today's truck driver is under enormous stress compared to the past. The electronic recording of driving times leaves no room for the old tricks. He is constantly monitored by modern track & trace systems and then has to be the company's figurehead for the customer. And there is this customer: No tension belt is good enough for him, he doesn't like any anti-slip mat and anyway - why isn't the truck washed when it drives into the yard?
