Danuta Jeschke – an employee of ours for more than 25 years – passed away on August 6th, 2015

On August 6, 2015, our long-time employee, Danuta Jeschke, passed away completely unexpectedly. We are deeply affected and sad.

Ms. Danuta Jeschke has worked in our company since the founding of OCS – then still BDS. With her we are not just losing an employee, but an integral part of our team and our company.

From the very beginning, Ms Jeschke has actively contributed to the success of our company. She was able to inspire customers and service providers with her open and loving nature. Despite her petite stature, no container was too heavy and no distance was too far for Ms. Jeschke. She has always been committed to the needs of our customers and has completed every task, no matter how challenging, to their complete satisfaction.

When she moved to the Russian transport department a few years ago, she provided valuable support to the team. For their colleagues, their know-how in Eastern European traffic was a great asset. Her Russian language skills from her school days in Poland complemented this activity wonderfully.

The loss of Ms. Jeschke is a sad event for all of us. We will remember her as we experienced her - always open-minded, courteous and warm-hearted.

Ms. Jeschke took some of us through various international kitchens so that one or two colleagues could discover their preference for culinary delicacies. She also shared with us the recipe for the original Bolognese sauce, which she brought back first-hand directly from Italy.

What remains are the memories. We are grateful for the time we spent together.
