At OCS Spedition, it's not just about efficient transport across Europe. 2023 was our first extended trade fair appearance – and it was incredibly exciting to truly experience trade fair life over several days. For us, it was important preparation for this year's event. We had many excellent conversations, gathered inspiration, and realized that environmental protection and sustainable transport are of great interest to many people – even though we hadn't yet presented our concept at that time.
Yes, and above all, it was a great opportunity to experience the industry outside of the daily grind. The openness with which we were received was remarkable – that motivated us to return in 2025 with our own focus.
Because genuine conversations can't be planned. The trade fair offers space for spontaneous encounters, from which the best ideas often arise.
And because we humans don't transport data packets. Our industry thrives on trust. You can immediately tell if someone truly stands behind what they say – and that requires personal contact.
Of course, we've also adapted to digital demands: Our customers can reach us on multiple levels – by email, phone, messenger, or through personal contacts. Always in the way that's easiest for them at the time. But still: Nothing replaces a real conversation – from person to person.
We'll be there all day and look forward to welcoming every visitor – whether a long-standing customer or a curious newcomer. At 11 a.m., I'll be giving our keynote address entitled "Mission Forest – Sustainable Logistics Reimagined," in which we'll present our reforestation initiative and our philosophy for a new transportation culture.
For us, it's not about digital booking tools, but about designing transport processes in such a way that our customers are completely satisfied – with personal support, flexibility and honest commitment.
We want to inspire people with our idea: transport solutions that impress with efficiency, reliability and genuine environmental protection – and all this with a team that is passionate about what they do.
Our goal is to launch new partnerships, deepen existing customer relationships, and demonstrate that transport and environmental protection are not mutually exclusive.
Environmental protection isn't just a topic for me – it's a matter of the heart. I grew up surrounded by the forests of our region, and it pains me how little of them remain today. Our commitment to reforestation in our homeland is therefore far more than a project: it's my personal mission. With my company, I want to make a small but real contribution to making the region a little greener and more livable. Every tree we plant for a full truckload symbolizes this. For me, sustainability isn't a marketing slogan, but a deeply rooted conviction – and with OCS, I want to demonstrate that economic success and responsibility for nature can go hand in hand.
And our customers sense this attitude. They know we're serious – and that with every shipment we entrust to them, they too become part of this positive development. This is complemented by our core values: reliability, transparency, and a willingness to truly listen and find tailored solutions.
